La “Rosa d’Oro” è un dono esclusivo dei Sommi Pontefici in visita Mariana con il quale i Papi dimostrano la loro devozione alla Vergine. L’oggetto è d’argento 925/°°° con doratura ad oro 24KT per il tralcio e lo stemma. È composto dalla base in marmo rosa, sormontato da un vaso in argento con lo stemma papale, da cui partono i rami con due rose in ambra naturale e le foglie cesellate in argento. L’oggetto è alto circa 84 cm. e pesa gr. 1.200.
Gold Rose. Gift offered to Our Lady of the Shrine of Şumuleu Ciuc. The “Gold Rose” is an exclusive gift of Supreme Pontiffs on a Marian visit, by which the Popes demonstrate their devotion to the Virgin. The object is made of silver 925/°°°, gilded with 24 KT gold on the branch and the emblem. It is composed of a pink marble base, supporting a silver vase with the papal coat of arms, from which there emerge the branches, with two roses in natural amber and the leaves engraved in silver. The object is approximately 84 cm high, and weighs 1,200 g.
