Vatican City (Agenzia Fides) – In his traditional New Year's address to the members of the Diplomatic Corps accredited to the Holy See, Pope Leo XIV today observed the current state of the world through the powerful lens of "The City of God", the work that Saint Augustine wrote "inspired by the tragic events of the Sack of Rome in 410 AD."
